The team was received by AQD Chief, <em><span style=\"border: none windowtext 1.0pt; mso-border-alt: none windowtext 0in; padding: 0in;\">Mr. Dan Baliao<\/span><\/em>, Deputy Chief,\u00a0<em><span style=\"border: none windowtext 1.0pt; mso-border-alt: none windowtext 0in; padding: 0in;\">Dr. Sayaka Ito<\/span><\/em>, and researchers. The visit is part of the project, entitled \u201c<span style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">Sustainable <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-ID\" style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'MS Mincho'; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; mso-fareast-language: JA; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">U<\/span><span lang=\"EN-ID\" style=\"color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">tilization of Anguillid <\/span><span lang=\"EN-ID\" style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'MS Mincho'; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; mso-fareast-language: JA; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">E<\/span><span lang=\"EN-ID\" style=\"color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">els in the Southeast Asia <\/span><span lang=\"EN-ID\" style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'MS Mincho'; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; mso-fareast-language: JA; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">R<\/span><span lang=\"EN-ID\" style=\"color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">egion\u201d<\/span><span lang=\"EN-ID\" style=\"color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;\"> supported by the Government of Japan Trust Fund VI Phase 2. A brief presentation and discussion on the on-going and future project activities were held during the visit which highlighted the possibility of collaborating on small-scale cultivation of eels between IFRDMD and AQD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span lang=\"EN-ID\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span lang=\"EN-ID\" style=\"color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;\">The project team also visited the multi-species hatcheries and other facilities in both Tigbauan Main Station, in Iloilo, and Binangonan Freshwater Station (BFS) in Binangonan, Rizal.
